MANJULA M DISSANAYAKE
Manjula Dissanayake, born and raised in Sri Lanka, is a banker turned social entrepreneur who believes that while talent is universal, opportunity is not. He’s the founder of Educate Lanka, a MasterCard Foundation-backed non-profit that merges online technology with public-private partnerships to improve access to education and employment for aspiring leaders from marginalised backgrounds. Manjula’s work has been recognised by the U.N, USAID, and Clinton Foundation. Manjula was named an under-33 global influencer by Diplomatic Courier and a top social innovator in the U.S. by Ashoka and American Express. Manjula graduated from the University of Maryland and the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
