Siddhartha Das curates and designs projects that see culture as a driver of economy. In 2002 he founded the multi-disciplinary studio that works on cross-over projects that bring together design with architecture, arts and crafts. His past projects include spatial design of the historic Jal Mahal in Jaipur; museum exhibitions at Rietberg Museum, Zurich and the Crafts Museum, Delhi; installations at Southbank Centre, London and Bangalore Airport; and livelihood projects with craft communities across India. Siddhartha is currently curating and designing museums in Ahmedabad, Jodhpur and Bhubaneswar; a College of Design in Delhi; and thematic exhibitions including 80 years of Modern Indian Art. Driven by responsible design, Siddhartha was given the British Council’s International Young Design Entrepreneur Award. He is an Asia Society, Charles Wallace and Nehru Trust Fellow, and a visiting faculty at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad; Central Saint Martins, London and Willem de Kooning Academie, Rotterdam.
