Inspired Leadership Award 2016 nominations open!
The Performance Theatre (TPT) is, at heart, about inspiring better leadership. And so an integral part of each theatre is the presentation of the Inspired Leadership Award (ILA).
The ILA was founded in 2006 and is traditionally presented at TPT each year, with alumni including Ratan Tata and Richard Branson.
Last year the award underwent a revamp, where it was focused on emerging leaders who have shown that they have the potential to achieve positive change on a global scale.
It is now time to activate the 2016 nominations process. ILA chairman Jeremy Hillman is seeking the names of the emerging, disruptive leaders who embody the values of social good and sustainable growth. These might be working as individual entrepreneurs and change makers, or from within a large organisation.
The winner will benefit from being connected into and mentored by a set of global business leaders and CEOs to help them develop personally and scale the great work they are doing.
Commenting on this process, Jeremy said: “The ILA is a really important award as we look to identity and progress next-generation leaders and agents of change. Connecting 2015 winner Jeremy Heimans with his TPT mentors – Jack Leslie, chairman of Weber Shandwick, and Bob Thurman, professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist studies at Columbia University – and welcoming Jeremy and his fellow nominees into the TPT community has been a pleasure and a privilege this last year. I am greatly looking forward to enriching our community with a new cohort of individuals.”
