The Performance Theatre’s advisory board welcomes five new members in 2021 as we embark on our next chapter. The advisory board provides guidance on our strategic direction, mentors our community, builds our tribe, and shapes the thematic content of each programme.
Bringing new perspectives into the advisory board and community is vital to helping The Performance Theatre deliver on our 2025 strategic priorities. One of these priorities is to invest deliberately in the next generation of leaders, especially those who will be leading the world’s most impactful organisations in 2025-2030.
Elizabeth Cousens is the president and CEO of UN Foundation and has been at the forefront of global policymaking and innovation for over 20 years. Rui Teixeira is the CFO of EDP – Energias de Portugal, a long-standing partner of The Performance Theatre.
This year, we also initiating a new model. Three guest board members will join us for one-year terms to ensure we regularly refresh our thinking on next-generation leadership. Our 2021-22 guest members are Mohini Ghai Kramer, the Global Head of Learning and Development at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), John Muthee, managing director and CEO of Savannah Informatics and Taiye Selasi, author, producer, screenplay writer and photographer.
